The Power Of Improvart

The Power of Improvart is a container to experiment, explore, and experience art and dance therapy and improvisation techniques through connection and movement.

By embracing our authenticity and vulnerability, the project will be a safe space for
emphasizing the physical and emotional well-being of the youth workers involved and cultivating a greater sense of connection and self-awareness.

With this project we want to:

• Address the need for holistic development in youth work by integrating art and somatic practices that connect body, mind and emotional awareness.
• Focus on improvisation and expressive arts to enhance non-verbal communication, resilience, empathy, and self-awareness.
• Integrate movement into youth work by providing practical tools and methodologies.
• Equip youth workers with tools to understand better the needs of the youth they serve and establish deeper and more authentic connections with them.
• Create a safe container where participants can explore, experiment and feel vulnerable and authentic.

This project is for you if you are:

• Youth worker, trainer, facilitator or member of an NGO, willing to get out of the safe zone, be challenged and explore the expressive potential of the body through somatic learning, movement and dance.
• Fully committed to participating in all the phases of the project (preparation, implementation and follow-up).
• Open to co-create brave spaces where authenticity, safety and vulnerability are welcomed in abundance.
• Over 18 years old and have a communicative level in English.
• Resident of Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Poland or Italy.
