Spread the Word

Training Course

9-16 October 2017 | Dresden, Germany

The "Spread the Word" training course provides you tools and methods for the better visibility of your projects, the effective dissemination and exploitation of your projects' results ensuring a greater impact, fruitful networking and successful pitching!
Disseminating and exploiting the results of your projects in a meaningful way is important not only for the funding programmes, but also for your target groups and the local environment to join your activities, support your aims, learn from examples and appreciate the work of your organisation. The most essential project results are the learning outcomes that you share among the participants, the partner organisations and the local communities of the involved partners. Identifying, documenting and communicating these results can sometimes be a challenging task – but it is possible with a strategic plan and a pinch of creativity. Increasing the visibility of the Erasmus+ youth projects and their impact contributes to the recognition of non-formal learning in international youth work and allows your work to be seen and appreciated by the people and groups that are very important to you. The objective is to explore the concepts and benefits of working on the visibility & dissemination of European youth and community projects by means of a well elaborated communication strategy and to build a strong international network of youth organisations that work with Erasmus+ projects. This exploration is going to be implemented through a series of workshops, which is going to be held in Dresden from 9 to 16 October, 2017.

Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. (Youth NGO)

Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. (JKPeV) was founded in 2004 in Dresden, Germany with the aim of providing opportunities for young people and adults to develop their soft and professional skills and stimulate their creativity and entrepreneurial skills whilst promoting the EU citizenship and active participation. To attain the fore mentioned goals, we organise international Projects and Trainings on site and abroad based on non-formal education with a focus on the exchange of good practices and expertise, the promotion of intercultural dialogue and interdisciplinary cooperation. For this reason, foreign trainers, artists, art theorists and curators, performers, academics, social and creative entrepreneurs, film makers, historians and sociologists, including young people and adults, are invited to participate in our on-site projects. Young people and adults have the opportunity to do an internship or volunteer in our association. We implement a number of Educational projects in European citizenship and active participation, Youth Work, Art and Culture, Entrepreneurship and Digital Media and through the Cultural and Art Events we carry out, we aim to support the exchange of good practices as well as encourage new and innovative art projects and emerging artists. Our Public Events offer the possibility for all citizens of the city wherein they take place to experience first-hand the intellectual and artistic approaches of individuals from other countries, facilitating thus the international dialogue on common issues.
