Street Work has been around for many decades and is all about engaging young people where they choose to meet and working with them to an agreed outcome and is about empowering and supporting young people within their community. The aim of the activity is to bring youth workers working in the field of Street Work, to exchange good practices from their respective countries and to introduce them the examples of Street Work in Turkey.
OBJECTIVES:
- To provide detailed information on the concept of Street Work and its implementations in Turkey and across Europe
- To provide space for new partnerships on Street Work among youth workers

A combination of different creative and interactive methods will be used and designed upon the profile of participants. Lastly, the study visit will be mainly built on institutional visits to wide range of NGOs etc. actively working for disadvantaged young people institutionally rather than detached youth work as it is not a very well established concept in Turkey.
