RESLA ( Reducing Early School Leaving through Art) project's main activity is 8 days training course in Gaziantep TURKEY. Video and Theatre tool will be used to analysis the Early School Leaving and the topics related with ESL.
Early school leaving is the one of most important and growing problem in Europe thus ESL took place in 2020 Strategy of European Union to be reduced the rate below %10. Reducing ESL can help towards the integration of young people into labour market and contribute to breaking the cycle of the deprivation that leads to the social exclusion of to many young people. The Project aims to analysis early school leaving at European level and Unemployement, social exclusion, economic crisis, social coheison as related topics to ESL; raising awareness about ESL. This training course will focus on sharing experiences, methods and good practices by using video and theatre arts as effective tools. On the other hand, the project aims to promoting the quality of youth work, promoting intercultural dialogue, come up with new sustainable and innovative project ideas and developing new partnerships, know how to use theatre and video arts as effective tools for youth work. The main activity of the Project, 8 days training course will be held in Gaziantep Turkey on 20-27 June 2016 and will host participants from the following countries: Spain, Italy, Latvia, Turkey and Romania with 27 participants. The primary focus of the training will be to study the actual work situation in Europe and the main common problematic in the different countries and if/how we can create solutions to unemployement. During this project the participants will have a very good opportunity to propose new actions, interventions and projects ideas to be implemented in the future in Europe. Non formal education will be used through the whole activity and intercultural learning and experiental learning will be the most important elements of the whole trianing process. Training course will be lead by expert trainers and the team will have some outputs like; short movies, visuals, theatrical performance and a guide about art as a tool for youth work. The outputs will be used in dissemination activities organized by partner organizations on local level.

Costs

Food, accommodation and visa costs are fully covered by the programme. Travel costs will be covered %100 up to limits written below. If the costs is over the limit participant will be responsible to cover extra part. The reimbursements will be paid in the last day of training course according to invoices of travel.
