Training Course
23 November - 1 December 2023 | Budapest, Hungary
Games are essential tools in a youth worker's toolbox. We all have our favourite ones, the jolly jokers, which we love introducing to every group. But are we aware of the roots of our favour? Why do we like some and can’t stand other games? Are we aware of our own playing characters?
We invite you to a serious, still playful journey where you can reflect on your own participation in games, and we can analyse the games and their effect on youth groups together.
Objectives
Working methods
We will play a lot of hours (old school/new wave, offline/online, cooperative/competitive, outdoor/indoor, static/dynamic, with and without tools) to get to know each other:

Our target groups are the affected members of the youth profession, primarily youth workers, volunteers, local municipalities, and the leaders and active members of the youth communities. For them we provide the opportunity for participation in developing programs which aims to create a deeper and more regular dialogue - typically at the local level- between the actors, to increase cooperation, and to recognize the benefits of collective thinking and work, both individually and at a social level.
