Training Course

8-16 November 2021 | Chamonix, France

The project will equip youth workers, youth trainers and educators with the skills of game design and gamification in order to foster efficient and engaging educational process for promotion and protection of human rights and intercultural dialogue

The project is going to be a LTTC which will consist of 3 parts: 2 training courses and a local testingphase in between. The participants will be ecouraged  to participate in the whole duration of the course.

Part 1: training: Play for Human Rights  ( France - 08/11/2021-16/11/2021)
Part 2 local phase: testing of games in the local communities 

Part 3: training Play for Human Rights Lab ( Hungary 28/01/2022-05/02/2022) 

Objectives of TC 1: 

  • to learn about the basics of game-design theory and its relation to person's nature
  • to reflect on connections between basic principles of games and non-formal education as well as HRE
  • to share personal experience in using games and reflect critically on learning outcomes
  • to learn about the opportunities behind games and gamification as well as their limitations
  • to create and test educational games or gamified systems in the area of HRE and ICL
  • to exchange experience and to give feedback;
  • to provide opportunities for cooperation and networking
  • to inform about the learning opportunities of Erasmus+ program


Participants profile:

The training course is open for educators - youth workers, teachers, trainers, youth leaders.

Criteria for selection:

  • - Age: 18+
  • - Motivation to participate in 100% of the length of the project
  • - Commitment to follow up activities
  • - Commitment to disseminate the project results
  • - Direct or indirect work with youth with fewer opportunities
  • - Motivation to learn about gamification skills and share personal experience in using games
  • - Motivation to create and test educational games or gamified systems
  • - Experience in youth work and education


Please note that the working language of the training course is English.

Participation fee

The participation fee is 30 EUR per participant. 

Accommodation and food

All costs related to accommodation, and food (3 meals

per day- breakfast, lunch, supper and 2 coffee breaks) will be

covered by project’s budget.
