PBA - Partner Up

Partnership-building Activity

1-7 June 2025 | Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal

Youth workers and organizations struggle to find the right partners and resources to expand their impact. Despite shared goals in youth empowerment and social entrepreneurship, the lack of structured collaboration opportunities limits their potential.

PartnerUP! is a Partnership Building Activity (PBA) designed to bring together organizations and youth workers with a shared interest in social entrepreneurship. During this activity, participants will:

  • Exchange ideas and best practices in social entrepreneurship.
  • Identify shared goals and discover synergies for future collaboration.
  • Develop concrete project proposals that can be supported by Erasmus+ and other funding programs.
  • Strengthen international networks and create long-lasting partnerships.

This event will focus on collaboration, using non-formal education methods to facilitate open discussions, brainstorming, and idea-sharing. Participants will leave with valuable partnerships and a clear vision for future projects that tackle social challenges together.

All costs (accommodation, food, and travel reimbursement) are covered under the Erasmus+ program.

PROACTING (Youth NGO)

PROACTING is a non-profit association founded in 2019, born from the fusion of the experiences and knowledge of its members. The association emerged in response to the lack of effective solutions for the social challenges faced by younger generations, particularly in the fields of social inclusion, entrepreneurship, employability, and innovation.

The primary focus of PROACTING is on the personal, social, and professional development of young people. Recognizing the challenges these generations face, such as limited opportunities for skill development and a lack of environments that promote creativity and collective action, PROACTING aims to create spaces for youth to reflect, co-create, and take action for change. The organization fosters opportunities to develop competencies and raise awareness of their value, supporting young people in both personal and community transformation.

Although PROACTING’s work primarily targets young people, the association also emphasizes the importance of strong relationships between individuals and their communities, believing that sustainable social transformation requires a holistic approach. Its mission is to empower individuals with the knowledge, skills, and experiences to identify societal problems and actively contribute to building a more inclusive and sustainable future.

Some key purposes of PROACTING include:

Supporting the harmonious development of society.
Developing training programs that enhance competencies, increase autonomy, and strengthen identity at both personal and institutional levels.
Fostering networking and partnerships between organizations, strengthening social capital, and promoting joint actions and projects.
Promoting values such as citizenship, human rights, inclusion, innovation, and social development.
Creating opportunities for education, knowledge access, and competency recognition.
Encouraging creativity, entrepreneurship, and equal opportunities for all.
PROACTING’s vision is to become a leading reference in the Social Economy, entrepreneurship, and employability sectors, both nationally and at the European level. The association aims to excel in strategic, financial, operational, relational, and communication management.

Despite its recent founding, PROACTING boasts a highly competent team with extensive experience in managing and implementing social projects. This expertise covers areas such as social inclusion, entrepreneurship, employability, and innovation. The team is skilled in non-formal and informal education methodologies, as well as the quality management of social projects. PROACTING’s aim is to be a valuable partner for organizations promoting social development, working together to achieve common goals and ensure successful outcomes for their mission.
