12-16 February 2024 | Płaczewo (close to Wejherowo), Poland

At "Next Step: Quality" we envision three days of partnership building, learning about quality tools for youth exchanges, exchanging best and developing the quality standards for common youth exchanges.

We, the team of Centre for Youth Co-operation and Mobility, are thrilled to share our warmest invitation to you and your organization to join our upcoming Erasmus+ Partnership Builiding Activity for Youth Exchanges “NEXT STEP: QUALITY” in Płaczewo (close to Wejherowo), north Poland.

We are an NGO accredited by the ERASMUS+ Programme in the Youth field. Annually, we organize two youth exchanges in Poland and facilitate the participation of young individuals in exchanges abroad. With over 20 years of experience in this field, we aim to establish a network of organizations – partners of youth exchanges within the Erasmus+ Programme, fostering a mutual understanding of the principles of the Programme as well as the outcomes that we want to achieve.

The Partnership Building Activity will take place from the 12th to the 16th of February 2024, and it promises to be an unforgettable experience that brings together around 20-25 youth workers from Programme Countries + Ukraine and Georgia.

At "Next Step: Quality" we envision three days of partnership building, learning about quality tools for youth exchanges, exchanging best and developing the quality standards for common youth exchanges. Together, we will plan youth exchanges to be organized in different European countries within the next two years. We will explore the concept of quality, share best practices, and explore the different phases of the youth exchange project life cycle.

THE AIM:

  • to enhance the quality and quantity of youth exchanges organized by participating partners;
  • to increase the number of partnerships with the organizations working in the field of youth exchanges in the Erasmus+ Programme;
  • to develop the competencies of youth workers/leaders in organizing high-quality youth exchanges;
  • to learn how to implement Erasmus Youth Quality Standards in youth exchanges co-organized by participating organizations.

We will explore the concept of quality, share best practices, and explore the different phases of the youth exchange project life cycle.

The programme will be divided into 3 parts:

  • building partnerships by learning about ourselves and the partner organizations;
  • learning about quality tools for youth exchanges, exchanging best practices, and developing the quality standards for common youth exchanges;
  • planning youth exchanges to be organized in different European countries within the next two years.

Expected results:

  • worked out quality standards for youth exchange activities among partners;
  • at least five youth exchanges planned and ready to be organized within the next two years;
  • improvement of the participants’ competencies in developing and designing non-formal education programmes for young people.

This activity is for:

  • people with prior experience as a leader/coordinator in at least one youth exchange;
