Partnership-building Activity "Youth Sport Connect"

Partnership-building Activity

8-12 September 2025 | Bosön,Stockholm, Sweden’s National Sports Center 181 47 Lidingö, Sweden

The activity designed to bring together organisations working in youth and grassroots sports. It provides an opportunity to connect with new partners and discuss common challenges in engaging and supporting young people through sports.

The training will take place at Bosön, the national sports center of the Swedish Sports Confederation, located just outside Stockholm. Bosön serves as a hub for elite and grassroots sports, offering top-class training facilities, education programs, and accommodations for athletes, coaches, and sports organizations. It is also a venue for conferences and events, fostering development and collaboration within Swedish and international sports.

Participant Profile

This activity is designed for individuals and organisations involved in youth and grassroots sports who are looking to strengthen their international partnerships and Erasmus+ projects (KA1), especially youth exchanges, mobility of youth workers and mobility of sport staff.

 You should apply if:

✔️ You are over 18 years old.
✔️ You are willing and capable of working in English.
✔️ You represent an organisation from a programme country,
✔️ You work with young people in grassroots sports, either as a youth worker, coach, educator, or project manager.
✔️ You want to find partners for a youth exchange, mobility of youth workers, or mobility of staff in the field of sport.
✔️ You are interested in improving the quality of work in your organisation, particularly in youth engagement, inclusion, and lifelong learning through sport.

Objectives

To find partners and build strong collaborations

The activity aims to connect organisations across Europe that are committed to youth development and sport. Participants will share ideas, experiences, and methods while identifying potential partners for future Erasmus+ projects.

Methods and methodology

To address common challenges in youth and sports organisations

Discussions will focus on key challenges, such as:

  • Reaching young people with fewer opportunities and ensuring inclusive participation.
  • Keeping young people engaged in sports clubs and associations for lifelong learning and personal development.
  • Educating coaches and youth leaders to better support young people and address their personal challenges beyond sport.

To develop high-quality Erasmus+ project ideas that integrate key priorities

Participants will collaborate to design high-quality Erasmus+ project proposals that address these challenges while also incorporating key Erasmus+ priorities—such as inclusion and diversity, digital transformation, environmental sustainability, and active participation—to enhance the impact and relevance of their initiatives. By embedding these priorities into project development, organisations can create more inclusive, future-oriented, and innovative sports projects that align with European values and funding priorities.
