Partnership Building Activity (PBA) "Greening the projects"

Partnership-building Activity

21-25 October 2024 | Bled, Slovenia

The activity aims to establish partnerships and networking among organizations. It focuses on education, knowledge exchange on green projects, implementation methods, discussions, identifying challenges, shaping guidelines, and defining green projects.

The National Agency in Slovenia is in a developmental phase in the field of green initiatives. Additionally, we note that the green priority within the Erasmus+: Youth and European Solidarity Corps programs is broadly and generally defined, making it difficult to articulate what a green project within these two programs should entail, what its key elements should be, and consequently, what would constitute good practices in the field of green initiatives. Based on this, we have decided to approach the development in this area from the perspective of collaboration with our applicants and beneficiaries by conducting a smaller international activity primarily aimed at networking and establishing partnerships among relevant stakeholders (who are best positioned to understand how the green priority is implemented in practice), as well as educating participants of the activity and collectively defining what a green project entails. This activity will thus serve as a starting point for our further implementation of the green priority within our programs.

Purpose of the activity:

The activity is aimed at establishing partnerships and networking among participating organizations. The event is intended for education, knowledge exchange on green projects and implementation methods, as well as group discussions and activities to identify key challenges in implementing green projects, shaping guidelines for their successful execution, and defining what constitutes a green project.

Activity objectives:

  • Establishing lasting partnerships among organizations for the implementation of green projects at the international level.
  • Encouraging the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and methodologies for the successful implementation of green projects.
  • Identifying key elements of green projects and best practices for their implementation.

Main target group:

Our primary target group includes beneficiaries of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs who implement green projects or whose organizations cover this area in their projects and have a strong interest in continuing work in this field

Practicalities:

We will be staying and working in hotel Astoria located in Bled.

If you are selected to take part, you will receive an e-mail with more information about how to organise your travel, information about where you will stay, what to bring, the programme etc.

You should arrive at the venue before the first-morning session on the 22nd of October (9:30) and you can leave after 19:00 on the 24th of October if needed, but you are welcome to stay until the 25th of October after breakfast.
