6 training days + 2 travel days

The activity aims to equip youth workers with new tools and innovative techniques in order to raise awareness among young people on the topics of waste and protection of the environment, with a special focus on art and outdoor education.

It will bring together 26 participants from several organizations, all of whom have experience substantial in terms of youth work and project management, particularly in the context of promoting the environment among young people, including those with fewer opportunities.

The project team includes competent trainers committed to successfully delivering the professional development program.

Experts, facilitators and artists, as well as the participants themselves, will lead group activities, reflections, various workshops and discussions.

The non-formal learning methods used in this mobility aim to provide a learning experience dynamic and engaging to the participants, as well as to improve their ability to apply what they have learned to real world situations.

Using a combination of active learning, gamification, group learning, holistic learning and other innovative approaches, the goal is to create a comprehensive and impactful learning experience that enables participants to develop new skills, knowledge and attitudes related to social inclusion and citizenship.

Through outdoor education, participants will also be able to apply these new skills and knowledge in a unique and meaningful way.

By using different non-formal education methods, the project aims to offer an immersive and practical experience to participants in order to better understand and internalize the concepts of promoting ecology, diversity, inclusion and their broad application(s), which are rooted in human rights.

These activities will be organized according to contributions and needs of participants and with the necessary support and safety measures in place.

This emphasis on participant-centered learning aims to maximize their involvement and provide them with new skills, knowledge and attitudes to support civic engagement, inclusion and their own particular interests.

In addition, this training focuses not only on the acquisition of knowledge, but also on the personal development, enabling participants to understand their own capabilities and limitations, building their confidence and their self-esteem.

By participating in collective activities, they will have the opportunity to experience group work, while
being accompanied by a team of experienced facilitators. This experiential approach to learning will provide participants with practical skills and knowledge that they can then apply to their organization.

Additionally, participants will be encouraged to be proactive and share their thoughts, experiences and ideas with each other. They will have the daily opportunity to express themselves and participate in debates, discussions and constructive reflections.
