North Star: A Learning Design Framework for Youth Work in a Changing World

Training Course

6-12 June 2025 | Calarasi, Romania

This training course aims to equip youth workers with the necessary skills, tools, and frameworks to design and implement effective, structured, and impactful learning experiences that foster long-term personal development among young people.

Hey there, amazing youth workers and changemakers!

Are you ready to level up your skills and create learning experiences that not only stick but make a lasting impact? This ERASMUS+ training course is your chance to design transformative, intentional learning journeys that will shape the futures of the young people you serve.

Get ready to immerse yourself in frameworks like the neuroscience of learning, Self-Determination Theory, and human-centered design. We'll explore together the tools to craft learning experiences that inspire and empower, not just for the moment, but for life.

And here’s the best part: You won’t just be learning theory. You’ll be working on real programs: whether you’re creating a new one, redesigning an existing one, or giving a fresh perspective to a module that needs a reboot. If you’ve got a program in mind, this is your golden opportunity to get feedback and hands-on support to make it even better.

What’s in it for you?

  • Gain tools and confidence to design impactful learning journeys.
  • Build and test real prototypes during the training.
  • Collaborate with passionate peers across Europe and join a vibrant community of practice.
  • Return home with a plan to implement all this magic in your work—and beyond.
  • Grow as a confident, forward-thinking youth worker, ready to improve your programs.
