Partnership-building Activity

14-17 June 2010 | Gjøvik, Norway

The participants will discuss and learn more about how outdoor activities can be used in social inclusion projects. The specific focus will be youth exchanges for young people aged 13-16. Partner mathcing will be facilitated.
Objectives: - Develop partnerships within the Youth in Action programme - Motivate participants and help them gain competences in using Action 1.1 Youth Exchanges for social inclusion projects - Help them discover innovative ways and approaches to address the needs of their own communities through Youth in Action program overall - Learn how to use Youth Exchanges and out door activities as methods in the work youth with fewer opportunities Content: - Presentation of best practice - how outdoor activities can be used in youth exchanges for young people with fewer opportunities - Discussions and sharing of experiences - Explore and learn how young people can achieve more confidence and better self understanding through outdoor activities and meetings with young people from other cultures. - Partner matching and start of project planning
