We present you the free online open course (MOOC) EDUCATING YOUNG PEOPLE AGAINST GENDER BASED VIOLENCE for educators, teachers, trainers, youth leaders and all people who would like to improve their skills and knowledge in working with young people on the issues of Gender and Gender based violence,

The registration is already open on the webpage www.youth-mooc.eu. If you want to take part in the course, you need to first log in on the www.youth-mooc.eu and assign yourself to the MOOC. Registration on the page is not equal to participation in the course. At the moment you register yourself, you will get all the notifications and instructions to be able to enjoy the course to the fullest.

MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE MOOC:
We are the team of the NewGenderation project - coming from Spain, Bulgaria and Poland, working in different youth organizations as youth workers or trainers. In our work we have been dealing with the topic of gender and gender-based violence for the past 2 years. In this course we would like to share our experience and expertise related to work with young people on gender and gender-based violence.
What can you find in the course?
- In part one we will explore the concepts used in this course and make a link between human rights and gender- based violence.
- Part 2 and 3 will focus on how to run non-formal human rights education with young people. Here we will share some useful tools you can use.
- In part 4 we will help you to connect your educational practice with action against gender-based violence.
- And finally, in the last part, we will reflect on why the issues of gender and Gender based violence are controversial and we will see how to deal with this controversy.
The MOOC will start on the October 16th 2019 and will finish on November 20th, it will have 2h per week estimated dedication.
