Training Course
21-29 May 2025 | Upeslīči atpītai, Jelgava, Latvia
This training course equips youth workers with skills to support young people facing emotional and mental health challenges. It focuses on stress and conflict management, personal development, communication, and a mindful, healthy lifestyle. Using non-formal education methods—such as physical activities, deep reflections, nature-based learning, and interactive workshops—participants will gain practical tools to help integrate young people into social life and build healthier communities.
The project is implemented by youth workers, with international partners preparing national groups and a local team handling logistics and evaluation. Activities include Erasmus+ and Youthpass introductions, ice-breaking games, teambuilding, group discussions, stress management techniques, emotional self-regulation, intercultural evenings, digital content creation, study visits, and post-project reflections.
Overall, the project fosters creativity, teamwork, and adaptability, promoting both personal and social development among young people.
Objectives:
-To equip 28 youth workers from across Europe with practical tools in stress management, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution, enabling them to support the emotional well-being of the young people they work with.
-To enhance youth workers' skills in intercultural learning, communication, and dialogue, which are essential for addressing the diverse needs of their target groups, particularly those from different cultural backgrounds.
-To ensure that the knowledge and skills gained during the training are effectively integrated into the participants' everyday work with young people. By fostering ongoing collaboration among partner organizations, we aim to create long-lasting impact and further develop these innovative approaches in future projects.
