Make the Move for Green Inclusion III

Partnership-building Activity

22-27 October 2024 | Novi Sad, Serbia

PBA is organised to find good reliable partners for youth exchanges with a focus on inclusion and "green" and to understand the needs for a YE of good quality. For this time, youth workers and young people from same structures will come together.

Over the past years, many youth exchange projects have been developed and run between organisations from different countries of geographical Europe, born in the previous editions of this PBA. An exciting and challenging intercultural encounter! In order to strengthen the partnerships and especially the quality of these projects, this partnership building activity, for the first time, will gather youth workers with 1 or 2 young people from the groups they are working with and will aim to provide the needed frame, support and training elements for the participants who intend to organise such an activity in the near future. Besides creating the opportunity to create strong partnerships, we also wish to offer a real participative and intercultural experience, as an inspirational example for future youth exchange implementations.

Therefore, this Partnership Building Activity (PBA) “MAKE THE MOVE for Green Inclusion III” will take place for the 8th time in Serbia. We will also try to create some interaction with the local youth sector, which adds a dimension of intercultural experience for the participants. The priority topics will be environment and sustainable development and inclusion, and the possible links and conciliation between these two.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES · - To create an opportunity to find good and reliable partners to make youth exchanges with, with a focus on inclusion and green projects · - To understand what is needed to plan a youth exchange of good quality · - To create a solid network of contacts and partnerships of young people and youth workers · - To equip these teams with insight in their role as actors and coaches · - To experience the possibilities of local involvement · - To understand the impact and social change a youth exchange can have within the local community

TARGET GROUP : The partner building activity is open for voluntary and professional youth workers, educators, working directly and concretely with young people, coming with one or two of their youngsters representing their peers and able to push decision making about development of a youth exchange matching their needs/wishes/demands within the frame of the Erasmus+ - Youth, in the fields of inclusion and sustainable development. Therefore, we would give priority to structures or groups working with an inclusion public (social and economic, migrants, refugees, gender, handicap, rural...).

It is not an academic or personal development activity.

PAY ATTENTION to the fact that this implies discussions with your groups and peers before coming to the activity, so that you really represent their ideas and what they want to do, in the fields of inclusion and/or "green" issues.

Max 20 groups or structures (one youth worker with 1 or 2 youngsters) from Geographical Europe (Programme countries + Western Balkans + Eastern Europe and Caucasus). Priority will be given to participants from organisations or groups working on social inclusion of young people and/or green approaches. Youth workers should be at least 18 years old, and accompanying young people between 15 and 20 years old.

Be aware that this Partner Building Activity will be in English.

Participants are expected to be part of the full duration of the Partnership Building Activity. All board and lodging is foreseen from Tuesday 22nd of October dinner time, till after breakfast on Sunday 27th of October 2024.
