- volunteers
- mentors
- facilitators
- teachers
Age limit: over 18, no upper age limit.
The trainers:
Alexandru Arhire start his training career 15 years ago, in an insurance company. After 6 years, he realized that this activity does not fulfil his desire to help society. He quit his job and started working with various NGOs while implementing activities in local high schools in Bucharest. The topics he addresses are topics that young people do not normally learn in school: how to communicate assertively, soft skills, ecology, personal development, how to get a job, etc. He worked with more than 500 young people and 200 youth workers, in the last years. He was involved in writing more than 20 E + projects and he was a trainer in multiple projects where he used non-formal education to help people develop their skills and improve their attitudes.
Marcelina Woźniak is the president of Young Wave association and she is a trainer for more than 3 years. She is passionate about non-formal education and she always uses creative methods to help participants to improve their learning. When it comes to her professional background, she has graduated from Applied Linguistics (UW) where she had a chance to explore many aspects of intercultural communication and mediation as well as get to know some tools that can be helpful for learning. She has been teaching English and German online for 6 years so she gained confidence in using soft skills to facilitate the connection with youth.
Participants in this training course will learn how to:
- develop confidence in their abilities in using digital tools;
- raise awareness on of certain digital tools which can make their work easier and more efficient;
- choose the suitable tools from the massive amount of tools available on the market;
- practise in safe space how to introduce innovation in their daily work;
- learn good practices from experts.
