Topics covered in the seminar include: •Intercultural cooperation. •Communication. •Motivation. •Facilitation. •Group dynamics. •Conflict management. •Project management.
You will find further information and the online registration here: http://www.training4change.org/leader The seminar is based on the following educational principles: •Non-formal education – not academic lectures, but practical exercises, group-work and games with a purpose. •Experience-based learning – we all have experience with leadership from our own lives; no-one is a clean slate/tabula rasa, and the seminar builds on this. Plus, we learn from what we do: learning-by-doing. •Active participation – you are expected to participate and share your experiences. •Fun – the seminar is going to be hard-working, playful, serious & fun - being among 50 like-minded participants from all around the world is never boring! Course start Monday, October 17, 2011 Course end Sunday, October 23, 2011 Location Global Platform Denmark Who can participate The International Leader Training Seminar is for all young people between the age of 18 to 30. For the internationals who require a VISA in order to get to Denmark, you need to be supported by an organisation in order for you to recieve VISA. Fluent English is required to activly participate in and contribute to the seminar.

Training for Change is ActionAid Denmark’s training unit. Through our Global Citizen Training programme we train people in a variety of different themes and skills thereby enabling them to actively participate in creating social change and reduce social and economic inequality in the world.
We do not impose solutions, but try instead to strengthen people’s own effort to throw off poverty and injustice. With the Training for Change programme we provide people with the knowledge, attitude and skills to do this.
