INCLUSIVE EDUCATION FOR MIGRANTS AND REFUGEES - Rome

DESCRIPTION:

Are you a trainer working with migrants?
Do you want to gain innovative techniques for the empowerment of migrants?
Would you like to learn game-based activities that can strengthen the integration of migrants in your territory? Then check out our Structured Course!

The course aims at providing to workers, trainers, and educators that are cooperating with migrants all the tools and materials needed in order to improve their employability in a multicultural context through paths such as empowerment and integration in the job market in a fun way, using the game-based learning methodology.

The Structured Course will be carried out by ERIFO it will take place in 10 training days: 4 days of online learning and 6 days in-presence learning.

ONLINE TRAINING ACTIVITIES will include:

- Linguistic and cultural support for welcoming migrants
- Cultural mediation in an informal learning environment
- Effective communication in a multicultural environment
- Techniques to strengthen active listening in a group

IN-PRESENCE TRAINING ACTIVITIES will include:

- Case studies/best practices for the integration of migrants in a working context
- Development of self-identity
- Strengthening memory and self-narration 
- Artistic laboratories as means of self-expression
- Activities and games on empathy, emotions and conflict
- Activities and games on the perception of space and orientation
 
The course will be available from September 2021: there will be monthly sessions until September 2022. Course's dates and timetable will be tailor-made to the needs and expectations of the participants, who should not be less than 6 people.

CERTIFICATIONS:

At the end of the course, each participant will be awarded with the Europass Mobility Certificate and the Structured Course's certificate of attendance in English.

COURSE LENGTH AND FEES:

online training (timetables according to the needs of the participants) + 6 days in presence training 80e/day in presence/pax=480 euro This amount can be fully covered via an Erasmus+ KA1 grant provided by your National Agency.
