Training Course
15-22 January 2024 | Klaïpeda, Lithuania
“I FEEL GOOD! – An alternative approach of mental health and inclusion of young people.”
This Training Course aims to develop an innovative approach to support youth workers in understanding and enhancing young people's mental wellbeing, with a focus on non-formal and formal methods that can reduce stress and improve the workplace environment. This approach also serves as a challenge for inclusion, as youth workers can better support young people who feel excluded or lack self-confidence.
METHODS: Psychological and artistic/creative methods and tools for self-expression and self-awareness as tools for personal wellbeing.
The training provided is not intended to solve mental health problems or provide therapy, but rather to equip youth workers with the skills and knowledge to respond appropriately and seek professional help when necessary. Overall, this training aims to promote mental wellbeing as a positive resource that strengthens the inclusion of young people.
IMPORTANT: The whole project is composed by 2 steps.
1st step: TC in Klaipeda, Lithuania, 15th – 22nd January 2024
2nd step: TC in Vinci, Italy 11th – 16th September 2024.

New Brussels (Youth NGO)
Established in 2007 in the heart of Brussels, New Brussels serves as an urban laboratory for cultural and artistic projects. We are driven by our passion for collaboration and creativity, especially with young people.
We address several critical themes in our projects, activities, and workshops, including citizen participation, recognizing prior learning and non-formal experiences, promoting intercultural dialogue, fostering democracy, tackling unemployment and opportunities, and promoting mental health and well-being.
Our primary aim is to support young people in engaging with the public life of the city and town, transforming them from spectators into active participants. We are dedicated to uncovering and nurturing their abilities and know-how, particularly focusing on those who face multiple difficulties and limited opportunities.
