Focus Mentoring - Develop your mentoring competence with the Mentor's Competence Framework

Training Course

25-29 November 2024 | Bucharest, Romania

Are you eager to enhance your mentoring skills within the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programme? - Join us for the "Focus Mentoring", a training course that allows you to dive deep into the newly developed Mentor's Competence Framework.

What is the Mentor's Competence Framework?
The Mentor's Competence Framework is a powerful tool to guide and refine your mentoring practice, ensuring that you are well-equipped to support volunteers. The framework provides a structured approach that helps understanding and developing the essential competences required for effective mentoring in the ESC Programme. It was created in 2023-2024 and it covers the key focus areas of mentoring, tailored to the unique needs of the ESC Programme.

The Mentor's Competence Framework was developed in a collaborative process within the Mentoring under Construction Community, drawing on the experiences and expertise of mentoring practitioners across Europe. It’s grounded in the principles of inclusivity, supporting continuous improvement and development. Its practical application ensures that it meets the needs of mentors, their organisations and the local community. It reflects the commitment of the MUC Community to support mentors in their learning, development and growth and the support and guidance of their volunteers.
