Facilitation Tactics - Mental Health Facilitation Training

E-learning

23 April - 21 May 2024 | Remote, Zoom, Spain

Facilitation Tactics is designed to train youth on effective facilitation techniques for mental health topics and help them put these skills into practice with participants with different backgrounds.

OPEN CALL for participants for our upcoming Facilitation Tactics - Mental Health Facilitation Training! :)

As we know how facilitation is a life changing opportunity, that's not just used to facilitate programs, but it also facilitates conversations, relations, and connections. It honestly changed our life and how we became more connected with everyone, can open conversations out of nowhere when there is 'some or a lot of awkward silence' and of course, it helps us to contribute to create a change and positive impact around the globe through mental health, and support youth from different backgrounds to express themselves in creative ways!

Also, it's not really common to find 'mental health facilitators' that could make your experience pleasant and can truly take care of the space and make you feel safe.

That is why we are bringing a new program opportunity to train you on the foundations of facilitation for mental health, which you will learn all basics of how to be a facilitator, and also support you to start practicing your facilitation skills in mental health topics and share with you this important skill, and give you a safe space to try and share your knowledge with others (we want to try even if you won't think you did well, but that's why we are here, to test things together, fail and learn, because there is not learning or experience arise without failure).

You can apply to our program if you are interested in facilitation but does not have any prior experience, and, the most important thing for us is to have the passion and ability to learn and an open mind to accept feedback which will lead to improvement in your performance, because it is all about testing and learning. :)

Yellow vs. Blue (Youth NGO)

Yellow vs. Blue is an artistic non-profit organisation registered in Valencia, Spain and in the UK, was established in response to the escalating rates of mental health problems and suicide among teenagers and young adults. Statistics show that approximately 10-20% of young people struggle with mental health issues, with suicide being the second leading cause of severe struggles among people aged 15-29. The onset of depression and anxiety during adolescence affects millions of young people worldwide. Unfortunately, a large proportion of young people do not have access to adequate mental health services, particularly in low- and middle-income countries, where over 75% of young people receive no treatment at all. Yellow vs Blue aims to provide a platform for young people with promising artistic and creative approaches to tackle mental struggles globally.
