Partnership-building Activity

1-7 November 2009 | Sarata Monteoru, Romania

Euro-Partners is a PBA that will gather 26 participants from 13 E.U. countries.Its main aim is to facilitate the collaboration among the participant organizations in order to plan future activities within the Youth in Action Program
The OBJECTIVES of the project are: • To create a favorable work environment for stimulating structured dialogue and the cooperation between the participants. • To establish links of co-operation, that enable the participants to organize new and innovative youth projects with a European dimension. • To debate specific problems and needs in the field of training and non-formal education for every participant country and finding solutions leading to draft project proposals. The required profile of the participants is the following: • to be at least 18 years old • youth leaders that are involved at middle or top management level in their sending organziations (also, he/she must be able to legally represent the organisation) • to have relevant experience in the youth field in training/non formal education • to be able to present during the PBA at least one project idea on behalf of the sending organziation • to have genuine interest to cooperate and develop future activities within the Youth in Action Program • good knowledge of national reality in the field of training and non-formal education • good level of english • only one reprezentative per partner organization may participate NOTE: WE WILL NOT ACCEPT TOURISTS, OPPORTUNISTS, ADVENTURERS, EVS VOLUNTEERS, TRAVELLERS, GROUPIES, HOLIDAYMAKERS AND SELF-SEEKING PERSONALITIES! This Partnership Building Activity will take place in Romania at Sarata Monteoru, starting from the 1st until the 7th of October, 2009, including travel days. During this time the participants will be involved in networking and awareness activities, group dynamics and intercultural dialogue (intercultural theme evenings), sessions on Funding opportunities at EU level, in particular the Youth in Action Programme and workshops on planning future activities. Euro-Partners will also be developed as a channel for communication, dissemination of other projects, a discussion forum, and platform for searching partners. This will be the main mean, by which recipients will share information, will be aware of update on projects and other opportunities. The direct result of this project will consist of at least 26 new innovative project ideas in the framework of Youth in Action Program that the young participants will have the opportunity to present during an actual project fair; also,after this experience new premises for cooperation will be settled between the sending organziations that the participants will represent. In order to facilitate the multiplying effect of this PBA, a comunication platforms will be developped - a website and a future networking project.

Costs

CADDRU covers 70% of travel and visa costs. Participants are therefore required to arrange their journeys in the most economical manner possible. Food and accomodation will be covered by the organizers. Participation fee 30 Euro will be deducted from the transport reinbursments.
