Empower to Inspire: A training course in Georgia and Latvia for youth workers, focused on addiction awareness, crisis management, and motivational interviewing to support and empower young individuals facing addiction challenges.

The training “Empower to Inspire” is designed to equip youth workers with skills that they can use in their personal life and also they can improve their social work and engagement with youngsters facing addiction problems.
The training course will equip them with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide
effective support, reduce harm, and improve the well-being of young people dealing with addiction. The idea of our project revolves around empowering these youth workers with personal development and coaching techniques, we aim to create a supportive and empowering environment for youth workers.
Through enhanced training, emotional intelligence, and coaching skills, we intend to equip them to make a profound and positive impact on the lives of young individuals facing addiction problems, fostering hope, recovery, and a better future for them.

We are launching a project dedicated to assisting youth workers who are committed to helping young individuals facing addiction problems. 

Objectives of the project:

  • Addiction Awareness and Intervention: Providing youth workers with in-depth knowledge about addiction, its causes, and effective intervention strategies to help young individuals facing addiction problems.
  • Trauma-Informed Care: Training youth workers in trauma- informed care to address underlying trauma issues that often accompany addiction.
  • Empathic Communication: Developing empathic communication skills to connect with and support young people struggling with addiction in a non-judgmental and understanding manner.
  • Crisis Management: Equipping youth workers with the skills necessary to handle crisis situations related to addiction, such as overdose or emotional breakdowns.
  • Motivational Interviewing: Teaching motivational interviewing techniques to help young individuals find their own motivation for recovery and change.

Participation fee

Participation Fee 30 EURO per stage. 

Accommodation and food

100% of accommodation, food and transportation during the project will be covered with the support of
ERASMUS+ by EU.
