DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY
The emphasis of this project is on Digital Competences and Media Literacy which are closely related, and both draw on the same core skill of Critical Thinking.
AIM AND METHODOLOGY
This training course aims to support the competence development of youth workers/trainers/leaders in the field of digital and media literacy. Media Literacy focuses on teaching youth workers/trainers/leaders to be critically engaged consumers of media, while Digital Competence is more about enabling this target group to participate in digital media in wise, safe, and ethical ways. The course will provide interactive sessions using non-formal and informal education methods, helping the participants develop their critical thinking and enhance their employment opportunities.

We are looking for participants who are:
-active youth workers, youth trainers, youth leaders, or volunteers;
-fluent in English;
-motivated to develop their knowledge and skills and to share their experiences with others;
-open to other cultures and willing to work on their knowledge, skills, and attitudes;
-committed to attending for the full duration of the course;
-involved in their organization with an active role;
-willing to disseminate what they would acquire in the training.

The participation fee is 30 euros per person
Accommodation and food will be covered by the hosting organization. The hosting organization will cover the expenses for the hotel room and the meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Moreover, the organizational costs (coffee breaks) will be covered by the hosting organization.
TRAVEL BUDGET
Travel expenses (flight tickets, bus, train) will be reimbursed to the participants based on the proof documents they will provide (boarding passes and original tickets)
The travel budget per person will be reimbursed up to:
Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia and Italy: 275 euros
Czech Republic, Estonia, Poland: 360 euros.
