DiscoverEU 4 you(th) - Empowering Youth with Fewer Opportunities Through Discover EU Inclusion Action Projects, 2nd edition

Training Course

6-9 August 2024 | Belgrade, Serbia

DiscoverEU 4 you(th): Empowering Youth with Fewer Opportunities Through DiscoverEU Inclusion Action Projects, a specialised training course (TCA) dedicated to Erasmus+ KA155 projects is back for its second edition.

DiscoverEU projects offer young people the opportunity to travel across Europe by rail for a short period of time independently or in groups. It aims to enhance its inclusion dimension by providing extra support to participants who have fewer opportunities to visit Europe. The participants should be 18 years old at the official start of the project.

As a result of the high interest of potential applicants and the need to support the quality of projects within this Action, the Serbian Erasmus+ National Agency Foundation Tempus will hold a training course in Belgrade from August 6 to 9, 2024.

Main goal:

  • Our primary aim is to equip the participants of this TCA with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively plan, implement, and evaluate DiscoverEU Inclusion Action projects, ensuring the active involvement of youth with fewer opportunities.

Specific objectives:

  • Introducing participants to the DiscoverEU Inclusion Action programme (its objectives, connection to the Erasmus+ priorities, quality criteria, and budget);
  • Providing participating organisations with the tools to successfully plan, prepare, implement, and evaluate DiscoverEU projects with an active role of young people with fewer opportunities;
  • Identifying and documenting non-formal and informal learning outcomes;
  • Broadening understanding of young people with fewer opportunities, and obstacles they are facing in relation to opportunities/possibilities offered through DiscoverEU Inclusion Action, and to the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Inclusion and Diversity Strategy;
  • Encouraging participants to reflect on European topics and values.

Target Group:

This training course is open to representatives of:

  • youth organisations;
  • high schools, vocational schools;
  • other organisations working with young people;
  • public bodies at local, regional, national level;
  • social enterprises;
  • informal groups of young people;

who work with young people with fewer opportunities (18 years of age) and are interested in implementing DiscoverEU Inclusion Action projects.

We welcome participants who feel comfortable and confident in their English proficiency to actively engage and contribute during the working sessions.

Working Methods:

  • Engaging workshops and interactive sessions based on experiential learning methodology;
  • Collaborative group activities and discussions;
  • Hands-on project planning and development, and feedback from the program experts;
  • Networking opportunities to foster collaboration and exchange of ideas;
  • Presenting examples of good project practices.

Don't miss this opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people with fewer opportunities. Join us on the DiscoverEU 4 you(th) and let's work together towards a more inclusive future. Apply now!
