Digital Burnout Training Course equips youth workers with tools to address digital burnout, promote healthier online habits in order to help youths. Includes workshops, practical activities, and collaborative toolkit creation.

Are you a youth worker looking to deepen your understanding of digital burnout and develop effective strategies to support young people in navigating this challenge? Join us for an engaging and transformative 7-day training course (plus 2 travel days) in the picturesque town of Sinaia, Romania, hosted by partners from Romania, Italy, Ukraine, and Germany.

This program is designed for youth workers in the field of non-formal education, youth development, and mental health who are eager to address the growing issue of digital burnout among young people.

What to Expect:

In-Depth Learning: Explore the causes and effects of digital burnout on mental health, share experiences, and engage in insightful discussions.

Practical Strategies: Gain 10 practical tools and methods to recognize and address digital burnout in your work with youth.

Collaborative Creation: Contribute to the development of a library of 30 resources, including guides, toolkits, and educational materials to support at least 500 youth workers across Europe.

Cultural Exploration: Balance learning with visits to Romania’s iconic landmarks for a unique blend of education and cultural immersion.

Participants’ Profile

The project targets youth workers aged 18 and above who are actively involved in organizing activities for young people. Participants are selected based on their professional experience and background in fields such as non-formal education, youth development or related disciplines.

Eligible participants must be affiliated with organizations actively working with young people, including NGOs, youth centers, community-based organizations, or educational institutions.

Selected youth workers should have the capacity to plan and facilitate at least one workshop on digital burnout for the young people they serve. This ensures they can effectively apply the knowledge and skills gained through the training to achieve the project’s objectives.

Furthermore, participants must demonstrate the ability to share the outcomes of the training within their organizations and networks, contributing to a broader dissemination of knowledge and resources.

Lastly, participants are expected to actively collaborate in developing a practical toolkit designed for young people, parents, and teachers during the course. This collaborative effort ensures the creation of impactful resources that address digital burnout and promote well-being.

Founded in April 2023, the organization's main goal is to inspire and educate individuals between the ages of 15 and 30 who are living in rural regions of Romania. Our core principles revolve around inclusivity, unity, and equity. We actively engage in initiatives that foster democratic values, promote the involvement of young people in rural communities, and support
personal growth and development among this demographic.
Over the past year, we have also conducted workshops aimed at the personal development of young individuals, using nonformal education approaches. These workshops cover topics such as financial education, democracy, how to behave in
special situations, human rights, time management, mental health and burnout.
Start123 Organization also encourage and support young people to take initiative and be leaders in several activities and projects that organization is developing.

Costs

Participation fee

No participation fee is requested

 

Accommodation and food

Start123 Organisation will provide accommodation and food.

Accommodation will be in Sinaia, at Argesu venue, 2 or 3 persons/room, private bathroom, 3 meals/day, 100% covered by the Erasmus + program

Travel reimbursement

Start123 Organization will reimburse the travel cost respecting the Erasmus+ distance band.

Italy - 309 euro non green //417 green travel

Ukraine - 285 euro green travel

Germany -  309 euro non green travel/417 green travel

Romania- 28 euro non green travel/56 euro green travel

Taxi or 1st class train tickets are not reimbursed.

Only standard flight tickets are reimbursed
