Ciao - Connecting, Inspiring and Activating Opportunities

Partnership-building Activity

21-24 November 2024 | Rende, CS, Italy

Ciao is a 4-day program designed to inspire and share best practices while connecting with new organizations. Open to organization members and youth workers interested in forming new partnerships and launching collaborative projects.

CIAO is a Partnership Building Activity co-funded by Erasmus+. It is a professional development activity tailored for youth workers and organization members interested in creating new partnership and new projects.

Aims:

  • To strengthen the personal and professional development of young people through mobility and learning activities in non-formal and informal settings. This objective binds both to improve the impact on the local area and to contribute positively to the challenges related to youth employment and youth empowerment by providing opportunities for personal and professional development.
  • To ensure that young people have the skills, awareness, and motivation to actively participate in the life of their community and society at large. Activities include collaborative projects and active community participation. These experiences encourage young people to be active citizens, involved in the life of their community and eager to contribute to the common good.
  • To create an inclusive society in which young people of different origins, cultures and backgrounds can interact, appreciate differences and work together to promote values such as solidarity, equal opportunities and human rights, and addresses the need to provide inclusive contexts and models for young people.
  • To improve the quality of youth work involves increasing the capacity and skills of organizations active in the youth sector. This is crucial to address complex issues such as empowerment, inclusion and youth employment.

The activities:

  • On the first day, participants get to know each other and introduce their organizations.
  • On the second day the focus will be on KA1 projects,  youth exchanges, professional development activities and strategic development activity.
  • On the third day, the focus will be on KA2 projects, partnership for cooperation and small scale partnership.
  • On the fourth and final day, participants will focus on creating new projects and forming partnerships, turning the inspiration and knowledge gained into actionable plans.
