Changemaker is a skill and self-development training course using the Synergy Method to improve participants' competences as youth workers in order to become more efficient in their work and life and create their desired impact.
Changemaker - self-coaching for youth workers and young social activists is a project of two training courses using the Synergy Method. We would like to invite you to phase 1 of the project. **The purpose of the training** To improve your competences as a youth worker in order to become more efficient in your work and life and create your desired impact. - skills improvement of youth workers in handling social and cultural differences, cooperation, teamwork, responsibility, communication, trust, openness, listening, self-expression, initiative, creativity, handling unexpected events, motivation, expressing values in action - experiencing how a competence-focused learning process works and understanding how such processes can be integrated in youth work and non-formal learning – as an example, introduction of YouthPass as a tool in international youth work - creating the base and providing info for future networking and the creation of common projects within the ERASMUS+ Programme **Participants** To Phase 1, we invite youth workers, youth leaders, mentors, coaches, trainers, facilitators NGO staff members and volunteers, WHO WANT TO: • assess, evaluate and improve themselves and their own competences as youth workers • learn principles and methods of learning process design • support and / or work as individuals Changemaker gives the opportunity to: • learn to use YouthPass as a tool and see the connection between fieldwork and European processes • learn tools of mentoring, coaching and counselling • self-coaching and burnout prevention • explore how creativity works **** For more details, find the information letter here: https://goo.gl/bkE1U6 Description of the training here: http://goo.gl/Hw6R5J Application form: https://goo.gl/a4FuBE

The organizer

Egyesek Youth Association is one of the leading independent youth NGOs in Hungary, member of the informal network called International Synergy Group and several other worldwide networks. Egyesek has 18 years of experience in local-level, grassroot youth and community work, and in designing, guiding and organizing non-formal learning projects, such as community service, exchanges, volunteering, internship programs, training courses and workshops.


The trainer

Norbert Hochstein has 7 years experience on the youth field. He is part of an international network of trainers. Graduated as a business information specialist, having a licence to use NLP techniques and certified to use systemic coaching. His special fields are personal development, interpersonal communication and body language. He will be assisted by an international team of volunteers.

The program is supported by Krisztina Győry, youth worker, personal development trainer and coach, creator of 2 NGOs and an international network, with 18 years of experience in trainings and 24 years in multicultural projects.

Costs

Travel cost will be reimbursed 100% up to the limit based on Erasmus+ and Hungarian regulations. Maximum amount of travel cost in € Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Turkey: 275 € Portugal: 360 € Hungary: 0 € Please find the process of the reimbursement detailed here: http://goo.gl/KL164V ***** Travel should be arranged by the participant to Budapest. An organized bus is going to take participants from the capital to the training venue. The same applies to the departure as well. Accommodation and food will be covered during the whole training. The venue of the training course in Creative Space training center, Hollókő, Hungary (www.kreativ-ter.hu) ***** Participant's contribution is 90€/person (to be payed in cash at the registration).
