“Self-Care is giving the world the best of you ,instead of what is left of you.” (Katie Reed) The aim is to foster the capacity of youth workers and organisations to implement a policy of self-care that would prevent burn-outs and secondary traumas.

This training course has the following objectives:

  •  to assess our resources and culture of self-care by theprofessionals and inside our organisations
  •  to develop our capacity to reflect and understand whenwe need to activate self-care mechanisms
  •  to list possible actions for self-care and to promote aworking environment that foster the well being of itsemployees
  •  to advocate for a culture of self-care in local, nationaland international levels
  •  to improve the competences of youth workers and thequality of youth work itself
  •  to create multipliers that will disseminate projectsresults & conclusions in our networks
  •  to promote the opportunities that Erasmus + offers

It is designed for youth workers, humanitarian workers, volunteers, educators, NGO's staff and any other professional working with youth. Priority is given to the ones that work in stressful environments or/and work with youth that have passedthrough traumatic experiences.

Accommodation and food

Accommodation and food are covered by Erasmus + programme.

Travel reimbursement

Travel is reisbursed to a maximum defined by the programme Erasmus +:

Pax traveling from Italy, Greece, Hungary, Poland and Portugal and Spain 275 euros

If you are traveling from Canary Islands 530 euros

If you are traveling from other city in the Netherlands 180 euros.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
