Partnership-building Activity

7-11 April 2025 | Morocco

This partnership-building activity will provide a space to network, exchange good practices, develop new partnerships, and create impactful volunteering projects in the European Solidarity Corps program. .

The Bridges Beyond activity will focus on fostering collaboration between programme and neighbouring countries while enhancing the quality of European Solidarity Corps volunteering projects. If your organisation is actively working on solidarity initiatives and is looking to expand its network and co-create innovative projects, this activity is for you!

The PBA will guide participants through key topics related to fostering partnerships within the European Solidarity Corps framework. Participants will explore:

  • Strategies to improve the quality of European Solidarity Corps volunteering projects.
  • Tools and methodologies for successful partnerships.
  • Opportunities and challenges for collaboration in developing and implementing European Solidarity Corps projects in different realities.
  • Funding possibilities within the European Solidarity Corps framework.

Participants will share their experiences, learn from good practices, and engage in meaningful reflections to develop collaborative and impactful project ideas.

 

Overall aim

This training aims to encourage organisations to engage more actively with one another within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps. The main objective is to build high-quality partnerships that lead to impactful the Corps volunteering projects.

 

Objectives

  • Improve networking and strengthen organisational connections
  • Create new partnerships and collaborative projects between programme and neighbouring countries.
  • Share good practices, tools, and methodologies in the Corps volunteering.
  • Enhance understanding of the European Solidarity Corps framework and funding opportunities.
  • Reinforce quality in European Solidarity Corps volunteering projects.

 

Profile of Participants:

For this PBA, we aim to have 30 participants, half of them are from programme countries and the other half from neighbouring countries. This activity is open to representatives from organisations that:

  • Hold a valid Quality Label for European Solidarity Corps.
  • Can communicate effectively in English.
  • Have a mandate to represent and decide on behalf of their organisation (e.g., project managers in volunteering projects).
  • Are motivated to build new partnerships within the the Corps framework.

Selected participants will be notified towards the end of January.

Costs

Participation fee

This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.

Accommodation and food

Unless specified otherwise, the hosting NA or SALTO of this offer will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.

Travel reimbursement

Please contact your NA or SALTO in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
