Boosting participation in the new Erasmus+ programme (2021-2027)

Partnership-building Activity

19-20 April 2021 | Portugal

Online PBA aims to bring together youth workers from different countries to build strong and sustainable partnerships to apply for projects connected to youth participation under the upcoming application deadlines of the new Erasmus+ 2021-2027 programme.

The Partnership Building Activity "Boosting Participation in Erasmus+ Programme (2021-2027)” will take place online on Zoom between 19th – 20th April between 10:00-13:00 CET and is organised by DYPALL Network.

The activity aims to bring together youth workers from different countries to build strong and sustainable partnerships to apply for projects connected to youth participation under the upcoming application deadlines of the new Erasmus+ 2021-2027 programme.

The late launch of the new Erasmus+ Programme 2021-2027 and close deadlines of the important Erasmus+ calls raised many uncertainties among civil society organisations. From our perspective, it comes with many new opportunities to create new, quality projects in the field of youth participation. This event is created to explore these opportunities together.

Dates of the activity:

  • Day 1 (April 19th) 10:00 – 13:00 CET
  • Day 2 (April 19th) 10:00 – 13:00 CET

The activity will give its participants an opportunity to:

  • increase their knowledge about the new Erasmus+ programme 2021-2027*
  • learn how to build quality partnerships
  • network with representatives of other organisations from many countries across Europe
  • brainstorm on new project ideas in the field of youth participation
  • build a quality project consortium
  • develop concept notes of the projects to be applied under the upcoming Erasmus+ deadlines

*Parallel sessions for experts and newcomers in the Erasmus+ programme

Detailed programme in the attachement.

For the Online Partnership Building Activity, we invite youth workers, youth leaders, project managers from civil society organisations from the Erasmus+ partner and programme countries.

DYPALL Network (Youth NGO)

DYPALL Network (Developing Youth Participation at Local Level) is a European platform of over 60 civil society organisations and local authorities from more than 30 countries, that aims to involve young people in decision-making processes at local level, and thus enable municipal and regional authorities to address the needs and interests of youth, engage young people as active actors of problem-solving and increase the level of ownership, commitment and involvement of an important part of our communities.

YP Lab is a resource and mobility centre within DYPALL Network with the focus on research development and capacity building in the field of local youth participation.

In order to realise this ambitious and challenging initiative, DYPALL Network has the following objectives:
• Develop structures and mechanisms for youth participation in decision-making at local level;
• Identify best practices and introduce innovative approaches on public governance in cooperation with local authorities and civil society organisations active in the field of youth;
• Foster youth engagement and inclusiveness in representative and participatory democracy processes;
• Build capacity and provide technical assistance on various areas and processes like policymaking, advocacy, structured dialogue, co-management, and more;
• Mainstream youth policies at local and regional level (such as youth Guarantee schemes) to develop cohesive and engaged societies.
