Training Course

20-26 August 2025 | Santander, Spain

Topic: analize gender diversity through an intersectional lens, how it intersects with factors such as migration, racism, functional diversity, sexuality... sharing tools and experiences on how to treat these issues in the field of youth work.

Objectives:

Analyzing gender diversity through an intersectional lens: how gender diversity intersects with factors such as migration, racism, functional diversity, sexuality etc.

Strengthen youth workers' understanding of these key social issues and how we approach them in practice, develop strategies for inclusive approaches together, provide tools and methodologies.

The participants will meet with local grassroots activism collectives and NGOs addressing gender, migration, and other social issues, to learn first-hand from the initiatives for social justice and inclusion.

The project aims to facilitate peer exchange and partnership building for future collaborations.

Profile participant: 

  • 18+ years old
  • Knowledge of English language (basic - intermediate level)
  • Open minded to work in an intercultural environment, respecting diversity of opinions.
  • Experience or interest in the field of youth work.
  • Genuine motivation for the topic,willing to share ideas, reflect, and contribute to the discussion.

Accommodation and food

The food and accomodation will be provided by the organisation and paid for from the Erasmus+ project.

Travel reimbursement

Travel expenses are reimbursed fully after the training course, in accordance with the Erasmus+ distance calculator.
