Training Course
26-31 May 2024 | Germany
Do you have sustainability and the fight for the climate at heart?
Would you like to create a positive mindset for yourself and a positive narrative around climate change? Do you want to discuss the mental limitations that we set ourselves when we participate in the climate change action?
But do you think that the topic always has a negative connotation and does this make you feel anxious? Do you want to become more equipped with tools to overcome climate injustice and to implement more climate friendly projects?
If yes, join us at the training course “Are you ready to be (climate) positive?” where we will share good practices of climate positivity in projects; have a deeper understanding of available CO2 compensation options; positive thinking and setting up a positive mindset to fight for climate justice and look at youth and human rights and youth perspectives in mobilities.
We will work together on strategies to be more climate friendly and create tools to use for achieving climate friendly youth mobilities.
This training course is the second activity of the yearly cycle "Re:generation - Climate positivity towards a just future".
Where and when?
The activity will take place from the 26th to the 31st of May 2024 in the Naturfreundehaus Rahnenhof in Carlsberg, Germany.
The project's topic and one of the goals at the same time is neutrality, therefore participants will be required to use green means of travel (train, bus, etc..), which means you should consider the need of travel days before applying. Flying will only be allowed from remote destinations where no sustainable means of transportation are available. Flying will not be accepted as a 'faster mean' of travelling and only if approved by IYNF.

This training course is aiming for youth leaders, youth educators, youth workers as well as interested young people in this field. This activity is open for people up to 30 years of age, but we are going to have very few spaces for people over 30 years.
