3-13 July 2024 | Manglisi, Georgia

Open Call for youth workers from The Republic of North Macedonia, Turkey and Georgia! Project aims to develop outdoor skills for the participants and equip them with a series of helpful methods in implementing learning experiences in outdoor education.

At the first stage of the project (Manglisi, Georgia) Participants will be trained in order to fully understand the potential of outdoor education. The knowledge and skills obtained at the project will help the participants to make their activities engaging and safe. The program of the second stage (Romania) will be built on the experience from the first stage and it will continue it, by preparing participants to implement complex and structured indoor and outdoor education activities.

The program aims to develop outdoor skills for participants, such as camping, hiking, orienteering, and climbing, while equipping them with effective methods for implementing learning experiences in outdoor education. It encourages personal growth and self-reflection, helping individuals develop a greater sense of purpose and direction. Additionally, the program promotes teamwork and leadership as essential values in youth work. It raises awareness and consideration for a healthy and active lifestyle, highlighting the benefits of outdoor education. Ultimately, it seeks to empower youth workers to cover this topic effectively with their target groups.
