Volunteering teams this training course will help participants expand their understanding of European Solidarity Corps focusing on the volunteering teams and on how these projects can achieve relief in regions that suffered eco-disasters.

Objectives

  • Highlighting the priorities of environmental sustainability, climate goals, and the assistance provided to individuals escaping armed conflicts and other victims of both natural and human-made disasters.
  • examine the potential positive outcomes of volunteering team projects in areas affected by floods, wildfires, and other ecological disasters. 
  • learn about successful volunteer team initiatives and best practices, while also forming partnerships to create high-quality volunteer activities in regions within the EU that have experienced floods, wildfires, and other environmental crises.

Participation fee

This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country

Accommodation and food

The hosting NA of this offer will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food

Travel reimbursement

Please contact your NA or SALTO in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
