Training & Cooperation

About SALTO Training and Cooperation RC

We support the European Commission and the National Agencies in developing and implementing the European Training Strategy (ETS) and the Youthpass strategy.

Our goal is to improve the quality of training strategies and activities in the youth field, and the recognition of non-formal learning in youth work throughout Europe.

Through the processes, activities and tools developed as part of the European Training Strategy, we contribute to the competence development of trainers, youth workers and staff of National Agencies.

We develop Youthpass on behalf of the European Commission and promote the recognition of non-formal and informal learning and of youth work, by coordinating training activities and providing educational materials related to these topics.

    The SALTO Training and Cooperation RC is located at JUGEND für Europa, the German National Agency for the EU programmes Erasmus+ Youth, Erasmus+ Sport and European Solidarity Corps.
