The LTTC on traditional sports and games as tools for intercultural learning was project oriented among South Eastern Europe/ East and Caucasus and Mediterranean countries and program countries.

During the training phase (held in Etcharry in September 2009), 12 youth projects were prepared, here are the results:

  • 6 youth projects were carried out: 4 youth exchanges, 1 networking activity (training course), 1 short term European Voluntary Service,
  • 3 youth projects were postponed in 2011,
  • 1 youth project was rejected due to technical reasons,
  • and 2 others were cancelled.

This third phase was first, dedicated to evaluation: participants met together and shared their experience in project management.
Then, from their sharing and their learning, ideas came and grew... thus, during this evaluation 10 youth projects were prepared by participants dealing with Traditions, Sports and Culture:

  • 4 Training and Networking activities: 2 training courses "Street performance around traditions" and "Practice traditions"; 1 Study visit "Pelota in Jordan and Palestine"; 1 partnership building activity "N.I.S.E"
  • 5 youth exchanges: "The Onion of traditions", "Climbing from Culture to Culture", "Hallal Xmas", "Failing out sports and Games", "Pelote in the world"
