The training course is organised by the Portuguese National Agency for the Youth in Action programme in cooperation with Salto-Youth EuroMed.

 

Aim of the Training course

This training course is focused on the idea of explaining and empowering the various ways of using the EM GAME as a tool, addressing to different topics and according to the different phases of the training.

It is also meant to enlarge the possibilities of interactions among the EM GAME and other activities.

The tool will be useful in activities as TCs, Seminars, CMS, Networwing activities and Youth Exchanges but also as Pre Departure and on arrival training course for EVS.

Methodology

The methodology will be based on dealing the different topics:

  • pedagogical approaches to gaming educational tools and their effective impact in youth work
  • non verbal communication
  • the competitive factor
  • the collaborative factor
  • the playful factor

Target group: Trainers/ Youth Workers

  • acting in the non-formal educational field
  • who are involved or interested in intercultural learning and gaming methods
  • who have experiences in the field of EuroMed;
  • are committed to attend the full duration of the course and to contribute to the fulfilment of its objectives;
  • are motivated to develop their competence in intercultural learning and its practice in youth work projects;

A gender balance, as well as Euro-Med balance, is considered as basic rule for selection of application

Recruitment procedures

Group size: 25 to 30 participants

  1. Apply on line to the first phase

    You have to fill in the application on-line. Only the application forms submitted and correctly filled-in will be taken into account.
  2. Selection

    Programme countries: pre-selection through sending National Agencies for the YiA programme
    Mediterranean Partner countries: Salto-Youth EuroMed with support of EuroMed Youth Units
  3. Information from coordinator

    The coordinator of the training course will contact you when the selection will be done. You will be invited to connect to the e-learning community platform to be informed on practicalities and programme. You will have to manage your travel and your visa on your own.
