This collection aims to support the cooperation within EuroMed area providing a depth reflection about the nowadays issues and challenges in youth work in the Euro Mediterranean context.
The youth work is moving and opening new interesting perspective for the coming future. The field of youth work within Meda countries is living strong changes and the role of young people is more and more relevant in the society.
Youth Work in Tunisia After the Revolution is a result of the Study Visit After the Arab Spring: youth work reality, held inTunisia last year (26th June-1st July 2012) that provided the chance to work and reflect about youth work and policy after the Revolution. That activity has been co-organized by Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Republic of Tunisia,SALTO Euromed, the Tunisian Euromed Youth Unitand the RCBS (Regional Capacity Building and Support Unit for the EuroMed Youth Programme IV).
Youth work and Inclusion in Israel is a result of the Study Visit entitledYouth Work and Inclusion in Israel, held in Israel last year (29th September - 5th October 2013) that provided the chance to discover, for an entire week, youth work and the level of social inclusion in Israel with a specific focus on youth.That activity has been a joint effort and work of the Israeli EuroMed Youth Unit (EMYU), the network of Israeli EuroMed multipliers and trainers, RCBS (Regional Capacity Building and Support Unit for the EuroMed Youth Programme IV), SALTO-YOUTH EuroMed, the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel.
Youth work and surrounding challenges, it is the result of the Study Visit held in Palestine last year (20th- 26th June 2013) that gave the chance to contribute, during five days, to the overall reflection about youth work in Palestine with a specific focus on field projects. That activity has been a joint effort and work of the Palestinian EuroMed Youth Unit(EMYU), the network of Palestinian EuroMed trainers, RCBS (Regional Capacity Building and Support Unit for the EuroMed Youth Programme IV), SALTO-YOUTH EuroMed.
Youth work and youth unemployment in Jordan is a result of a seminar held in Jordan last year (13th - 18th June 2013) that gave the chance to contribute, during five days, to the overall reflection about youth work in Jordan with a detailed focus on unemployment. The specific aim of this study is to supply some new keys for reading the ongoing situation of youth work in Jordan, the challenges, strategies and good practices.That activity has been organized with the coordination of RCBS (Regional Capacity Building and Support Unit for the EuroMed Youth Programme IV) and SALTO-YOUTH EuroMed with the joint effort of the Jordanian EuroMed Youth Unit (EMYU).
Youth Work in Lebanon and Cultural Identities: “Diversity of Communities: Richness or?” is the result of a study visit, organized with the coordination of RCBS (Regional Capacity Building and Support Unit for the EuroMed Youth. Programme IV) and SALTO-YOUTH EuroMed held in Lebanon from the 22nd to the 27th June 2015 that gave the chance to contribute, during five days, to the overall reflection about youth work in Lebanon with a specific focus on youth engagement related to religious or political affiliations. The specific aim of this study is to supply some new keys for reading the diversity in the youth field, strategies and good practices of youth work facing the complex situation in the country.
