Eastern Express Training Course

After the first Contact Making Seminar "WHY not 1?" in 2005, SALTO EECA developed a concept of trainings to support youth workers in organising Youth Excahnges. Since 2005 there was already 5 "Eastern Express" trainings.

Aims

The "Eastern Express" trainings aim to enhance quality of Youth Exchanges (action 3.1) and in addition wants to stimulate the creation of new partnerships and creative project ideas.

Objectives

• To provide detailed information about the Youth in Action Programme, especially action 3.1;
• To get to know with possibilities of cooperation between Programme and EECA countries, within Youth Exchanges;
• To explore specificities of Youth Exchanges between Programme and EECA countries (visas, money transfers, etc.);
• To rise competences of youth workers in Youth Exchange projects management;
• To develop the quality and creative approach in organising Youth Exchanges;
• To share understandings of Youth Exchanges' principles - non-formal education, intercultural learning, etc.
• To bring together youth workers and leaders to create new Youth Exchange ideas within the Youth in Action Programme;
