About SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucasus Resource Centre

SALTO EECA Resource Centre was formed in October 2003 by European Commission to support the cooperation within the YOUTH (in years 2003-2007), YOUTH in ACTION Programme (2007-2013) and further in the Erasmus+ (2014-2020) and European Solidarity Corps (2018-2020) with Neighbouring Partner Countries from Eastern Europe and Caucasus Region. Nowadays it continues its mission within new ERASMUS+ Youth and EUROPEAN SOLIDARITY CORPS (2021-2027) supporting following countries:

Armenia | Azerbaijan | Belarus | Georgia | Moldova | Russia | Ukraine

Aims of the SALTO EECA Resource Centre:

• To raise visibility and awareness of the Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps opportunities for the Eastern Partnership countries and Russian Federation,
• To provide support and expertise to National Agencies of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action and European Solidarity Corps by contributing to events promoting cooperation in the field of youth with the Eastern Partnership countries and Russian Federation,
• To promote international youth cooperation with the Eastern Partnership countries and Russian Federation,
• To support project organisers in the development of contacts, partnerships and projects.

SALTO EECA RC organises:

• INFORMATION ACTIVITIES - enabling organisations from Eastern Partnership countries and Russian Federation to have easy access to the Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps programmes and promoting co-operation with counterparts in Programme / Participating countries.
• TRAINING EVENTS - support for non-formal education in the youth field and European youth programmes development
• DEVELOPMENTAL ACTIVITIES - contact making seminars and study visits aimed at building long-lasting partnerships between organisations from Eastern Partnership countries, Russian Federation and Programme / Participating countries.

SALTO EECA RC provides support to:

• Organisations and institutions,
• Project coordinators, Youth Workers, Youth Trainers,
• Youth Leaders, EVS Volunteers,
• National Agencies of the Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps programmes,
