SALTO Inclusion wanted to contribute to the discussion on how to use the Youth in Action programme as a tool to respond to one of the big challenges in society: youth unemployment.
SALTO Inclusion continued its close cooperation with the SALTO Training and Cooperation Resource Centre regarding the use of Youthpass with young people with fewer opportunities.
There were important links made between the SALTO Inclusion work and activities of the EU Presidencies focussing on Youth Employment.

In 2010 SALTO Inclusion supported NAs and SALTOs in developing Inclusion Activities, exploiting the work started on Youth & Unemployment in 2009:
SALTO Inclusion collated knowledge about the topics of social inclusion & un/employment. It organised an Round table expert meeting and carried out a comparative litterature review to build a solid research foundation for its inclusion & employment work.

SALTO Inclusion manages the Trainers Online for Youth (TOY) database on behalf of the SALTO network and has done an review of the TOY database, to reflect more the current European priorities and further increase user-friendliness.
